Exclusive! Sneak Peak at the Pro-Slots Crowd's New Website

Submitted by MD United on July 3, 2008 - 12:44pm.

The pro-slots crowd hasn't yet officially launched their website - but, we've got a sneak peak for you. And, the arguments they make are, well, not terribly compelling. Here's one:

You're darn right they want their slot machines. The pro-slots crowd wants slots because they'll mean windfall profits for gambling industry executives.

Well, fortunately, they give us an opportunity to "Get the Facts." Check out their compelling case:

That's right - their case for slots is gibberish! And, you can bet that even after they launch it'll still be gibberish! Because, the truth is, amending the Constitution to legalize slots will bring higher crime, more gambling addictions and increased domestic violence across the state.

We're also pleased to report that Maryland is about to have a gambling industry funded blog! But, alas, it appears the pro-slots crowd is still learning what a blog post is...

This should be fun.

Update (1:01 pm)

You won't believe this one:

Wow. Let's hope this doesn't mean that the pro-slots crowd wants to bring more casino gaming into Maryland. We can think of a number of other industries that are better for Maryland's economy than gambling.
